Needs polishing

The software is generally easy to follow along with, there were a couple of instances where the explanations could be improved upon as well as backing out of numbers. What I mean by this is if I go down a path and later change my mind, the numbers entered should be removed when the box is unchecked. In my case, I selected the wrong type of depreciation (Rental appliances, etc.) When the software check flagged this for review, I realized I made an error and went back in the software and selected the correct option (Rental real property) but I still had to go into the forms to pull out the numbers from the first selection; they should have cleared when I changed my selection.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Doesn't pickup discrepencies on 1099-Ks, had to mail return.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues

H&R Block 2017 Premiom Tax Software

This year's software has to many bugs in it. It started out not being able to transfer last year's taxes into the program. Then when I went out and came back in to finish my taxes they weren't in the spot the should have been. I finished my taxes and e-filed them but again when I came back into the program they still weren't in the spot they should have been. I had to go to file and then resents to find them. After my taxes were accepted I was give then option to print the Federal status submission number but not my states status submission number, they are two different numbers. Finally the program gave me a hard time saving the return for next year, it kept telling me it couldn't be saved because a file already exists with the name and when I clicked to override the previous file for the current file it wouldn't let me. I had to renamed the return to save it.

Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to import
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
