For the most part, this is a good product but the Royalties are needs xo.e work. The worksheets show up in the wrong place and I have to redo them. Very frustrating. Also the partnership worksheet doesn't allow you to enter all the codes and information
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used this product back from when it was called "TaxCut" in the 1990's, and have pretty much been satisfied. This year, however, the last few returns I was trying to e-file on 4/14/24 I had a stressful time getting them to go through -- it kept telling me the previous year's AGI and/or PIN was incorrect, and it wasn't. Then the next issue I had was internet and/or firewall -- it said "bad gateway" (I later found out in the news that H&R Block software WAS the problem, not my computer, or the IRS). Anyway, 3 of the 5 returns that I was trying to e-file on Sunday, April 14, went through, and the last two I had issues with. I ended up mailing one even, which was a pretty big hassle. April 14 & 15 were very stressful for me this year!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

could not find any information on how to deduct health insurance premiums. also state filing fee used to be included in package. it is probably better to buy a cheaper package or the free one at this point

I’ve used H&R Block tax prep software for about two decades and always with great results. However, the company is charging additional and sometimes excessive fees for online submission, deposit into accounts, etc. it has become an unreasonable source of revenue generation on the backs of consumers. I appreciate the accuracy, periodic updates and thorough methodical approach to this product, but additional fees are not appropriate.

i been using it for last few year but for some reason, this year been difficult year to deal with.
First, my medical deduction was deleted for some reason..... and I didn't catch that before i sent in. Upon wondering why return is so little this year, I noticed medical deduction was empty.
When I tried doing amandment, it was just too hard to follow. So just federal alone, I am loosing about $500. State was less.
I am looking around CPA who can do amandment right now but it's not cheap.
