Full-featured tax software that's reasonably priced; imports previous tax info (even from competing brands) very well. Could be a little bit more transparent and I wish there was more space for entering your charitable donations. But otherwise, great!

"Bad Gateway" problems

I have been an H&R Black customer for almost 20 years, and I never had a problem submitting my taxes. This year, the software gave me a "Bad gateway" error, and the software still thinks I have not file my return. Luckily, my returned was indeed file and accepted by the IRS, but I had to call to verify.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this program for years, even when it was called TaxCut. It works for me. I like importing of last year’s return and easy access to forms and interviews.

Software failed on the most important tax filing day. Customers kept in the dark for many hours. Ultimate disrespect for the customer to say the least.

I receive royalties from Oklahoma (a non resident state) and the 511NR forms in HR Block don't compute correctly so I do OK by hand then have to send in both states returns in the mail.
