Makes doing taxes easy, even with a small business

I've used HR Block tax software for years, all the way back to its predecessor, TaxCut. The guided interview makes it easy to move through the process of completing my tax return, even with a small business (publishing) and personal investments. Basic information can be saved/imported from a previous year's return, and some financial information (W-2s, 1099s, annual investment statements) can also be imported, depending on the institution. Lots of information (HR Block explanations, IRS documents) is available if you need it as you complete the interview, there's some helpful tax planning information in the summary, e-filing is simple and free, and everything is backed by HR Block. Highly recommended.

Handles most topics well. The most notable quirk was with IRA Minimum Distribution. I am not 73 years old yet but the software seemed to expect me to complete that section. I think the software should recognize my age and not ask about IRA Minimum Distribution until I reach 73 yrs. old.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I've used the software for years but as I grow older the font seems to be getting smaller and smaller. There should be an option to increase the size. When I called and asked if there were any options, the rep told me to use Control + or -. That is not a reasonable solution. Because increasing the font just stays inside a predefined box which is unusable. Please fix this and I would give your 5 stars.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
