2020 return took away a $4,000 tax credit - it's unclear why as they weren't specific enough for me to be sure.

Every year a glitch. Last year 1099-SA was delayed weeks but the calculation didn't change. You held up my refund. Never Block again.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I've been using this software for at least a decade. Until recently I would have given it five stars. However, for the 2021 filing year, the software failed to calculate a particular line correctly such that instead of a refund, I had to pay the IRS. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Plus I had to figure out where it went wrong, after receiving the notice from the IRS.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
