The 2021 software was a download.
I prefer a CD.
Previously, I bought the CD version and was informed that it was not compatible with my Windows XP.
This caused a lot of problems for me.

I had to use an online version that does not reside on my PC, and I still can't access it.
I will be using a CPA this, year because I sold my Mother's house.

One of the 2 choices you have for desktop version. I migrated from TurboTax years ago and never looked back. It’s what they claim it’s. That’s not something you can take for granted nowadays

It's good if you have a simple tax to file. If you needed to amortize, file de minimis safe harbor, home office, etc. The help line is also pretty useless, you have to wait for an hour before talking to someone who does not understand enough to give an answer. They will then file for an escalation which takes over a month to get an answer that does not answer the original questions.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
