I have enjoyed using H&R Block Premium software for years, since it evolved from Tax Cut. I always appreciate how last year's return is pulled forward effortlessly. I'm also very happy that I am able to continue using this software on the Mac OS platform. This software is easy to use and takes a lot of stress out of preparing taxes.

I've used H&R Block Premium Tax Preparation Software for many years, ever since giving up on TurboTax. The user interface is easy to follow and guides you through everything. Or, if you're a tax professional, you can go straight to any form and fill it out directly. The premium version gives me the necessary forms and schedules to handlle my partner's rental and investment income and expenses. I am always pleased when I finish a return and the error check tells me I have nothing that should invoke an IRS audit. It also gives me hints and advice about how to minimize next year's income taxes. I have to use three different state programs because of the locations of my partner's rental properties. I can do the state programs on my own with just the downloadable forms from each state, but the H&R Block state programs make it so much faster and less error-prone.

Right now I would give it one star. I am being audited by the IRS and being denied a credit that was directly recommended by the software. I followed the software and it said I had a low probability of audit.
Cons: Hard to import documents
