As always, not user friendly

This will be the last year I use this software. It is never user friendly and this year completely messed up my filing

Dismal failuer

Been using HRB for 30 years and the tax software for 15 or more. Never had the issues or poor support experienced this year. I will not be back next year.

The help for this program stinks! It is so automated it can't answer simple questions about its own software. My blood pressure goes up every time I use it. Why can't they acknowledge that women file taxes too, instead of insisting on defaulting to calling me by my husband's name throughout the process? Why can't their chat be with a real person when needed?
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent but needs improvement

It worked well for my taxes but I had a few issues to report:
1. For MN State the interview does not ask about 529 contributions, it would be a great addition.
2. When a e-file gets rejected it almost treats it like a new return.

Federal form printing

When printing the return - - the bottom of the cover page - the next line after the refund applied to next year does not print correctly !!?.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Need IRS Form 8911 for EV infrastructure

Two of my friends installed EV chargers in their home but were unable to use IRS form 8911 to claim a tax credit. This resulted in lots of consternation trying to figure out how to get the credit but file electronically. EVs are sweeping America. Get this form integrated into the software.
