Mostly Very Good, But K-1 Forms Are Poorly Handled

A lot of the interview process is very effective, and it is wonderful to look at the Forms as they develop little by little. But the handling of K-1 forms (partnership report received each year) has not improved, over the years; The software is leaving it for me to add numbers directly onto forms - and the "overrides" required mean I cannot use e-filing. Today I mailed 85 pages (my federal tax filing) to the IRS in Utah. Not as good as it should be. K-1 is your big problem (in my experience for years now).
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Oops! H&R didn't read tax law (and client query)

Low confidence H&R software is accurate!
2020 Covid law hd provisions for tax law. One was for IRA & 401(k) loans. H&R didn't include in tax software so tax error (up) was HUGE if one took out loan & repaid it.
In spite of over 30 queries (on line & by phone) error remained beyond 15 April until early May (lucky H&R got 1 month extension to filing).
Fix was to OVERRIDE software and ignore warnings!
QUESTION: What other errors were missed?
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Too expensive for multiple state programs. Too many exclusions for submissions. Instructions and search are unclear as well

The feature that allows us to upload information from banking/security accounts was a pleasant surprise for us this year! Never had to use that before and was not looking forward to the learning curve of securities but you guys made it so smooth!! Thank you!!
