I only used this product from the Taxcut days. I used to prepare my taxes the old fashioned way. I am also interested in learning the tax laws pertaining to my taxes. I like this products simple interviews. I also like the take me to feature.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Predominantly walks you threw everything and gives you help insight but the reason for the 4 star is some explanations are vague

Software was easy to use but was surprised it did not support something as simple as AZ credit for taxes paid another state. Still wanted to e-file so passed on a credit I had coming. Software also is weak in preparing estimates for 2021, so much so that they did not even have filing instructions and address where to file. Depreciation was adequate, but again did not provide schedule of differences from Federal to States.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Software was easy to use, updates took longer than normal to be available, but new laws/changes were later in 2020/2021 than usual.
