I loaded the latest version but it did not include the last approved stimulus payment. Now I have to file an amended return. What a pain in the butt this is. The payment was approved a week ago yet they haven’t updated the software.

Don't like your "chat" feature. Hard to get questions answered other than chat. Question how supportive you would be in case of an audit. I had the feeling processing stimulus checks was more important than getting my taxes filed with HR Block. Although I have not used them in many years, may seriously look at TurboTax next year.

I've been using H&R software for over 10 years now.. I had a friend use the software to do my taxes & I moved to a different state and started using the software myself. It is easy to use & it has helpful tax information that's added while your doing your return. It does a accuracy test at the end so you can fix any errors before you electronically submit your returns. It tells you if your taxes were excepted for both the Federal & State.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I trust H&R Block tax software. I have been using it for my personal and self-employment taxes for well over 10 years and find it easy to use and always accurate. I really like that it first copies basic info from previous year's taxes and then asks you to verify or update for the new year.
