I have used this software for years and it is very user friendly. You have to pay for pro help though that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it leads you to believe it is free. Other than that it is great for tax preparation.

This software makes the unpleasant task of preparing your taxes as seamless as possible. You’re literally shown almost every scenario possible making sure you don’t forget to report a thing! You’re guided through each section and offered helpful tips and information all the way! Very thorough.

Not for filing printed on every page

Apparently there is no way to turn off "Not for Filiing" on every page - Super Annoying.
Cons: Time consuming

The software is a bit more cumbersome to navigate than Taxcut. As a independent contractor I felt I had to dig a bit more into forms to find my opportunities for deductions. Taxcut seems a bit more intuitive.

Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

There is no Mac version for business software, must use a PC - but not all businesses use PCs. Time for a Mac version of the software but there isn't one available.
