Messed up my return!

I've used this software for 7 years. This year, I finished my federal taxes and saved it before starting state taxes. When I started on my state taxes, I saw that the numbers transferred in did not reflect my finished return. Back to federal saved return, I discovered that the numbers there were all over the place: some from my 2018 return, a few from the 2019 return - and many, many from the thin air bearing no resemblance to anything I inputted! My recently saved return was gone. I HAD TO START THE RETURN FROM SCRATCH!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When u get it you can do all ur federal stuff for free but State taxe returns cost money to actually go through with just a heads up

Generally, software quality has been improved a lot in the past few years. One thing can be improved for this year is the vehicle used for business last year. Information of that vehicle was carried over from last year but it is not used this year. However, it is not seen at the beginning until at auditing stage. At that time, it created confusion when saw that conflict at beginning. Need to look into the form more detail to resolve that conflict.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

Easily filled out questionnaires. Accurate and fast. Could use better explanation of some terms/questions and of course allow for 'attachments" to forms (as requested by IRS) Been using HRB for years and see no reason to quit.
