It's a good program, and don't ask me how its creators manage to distill down all of the zillions of IRS rules, which are absurdly complex. Just get your receipts, W-2's, and 1099's together, plug in the numbers, answer some questions, and the program will lead you to the promised land--completion of your taxes. There is one thing in the program that is lacking: a blank page on which you can write short explanatory notes to the IRS when necessary. Without that internal page, you cannot write a note and submit electronically. You have to print your forms and mail them in. Providing the capability of writing a few notes would improve the program, and it would be easy for the co. to add that feature.

I am a single owner LLC and it was unclear which software version to use, either the Premium or Business. Had to start a return using the Business version to discover it was not the right software unless you have issued 1099-MISC. Ended up using the Premium and everything was great except the help for the Schedule C and reporting income without a 1099-C. If they improve the help features for the Schedule C, specifically the business expenses/deductions which would earn them five stars. May try Turbo Tax next year to see if they do a better job with the Schedule C.
