I don't find this software very easy to maneuver with, plus they need to dumb down descriptions of what things are. If the software asks a question, the question should be obvious. If I want to talk to a helpdesk, that number should be handy.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues, Hard to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought as soon as it came out to start entering data even though W-2s wouldn't be out for another 2 months. Even though we couldn't file itemize deductions for federal, state picked up the itemizations and it made a difference. So, don't bypass what you used to do just because the federal tax laws changed considerably, it may be beneficial in your state. Filed as soon as IRS was accepting returns, with no problems - and no we didn't get a refund, but you have to pay it sooner or later so why not sooner.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Fast

Have used this program for many years. Easy to use, reliable, and will definitely continue to use. Our taxes are fairly complex but program allows me to take care of them at home
