Have used Taxcut for 20+ years. Very easy to use and the SW handles most difficult tax cases -- e.g. partnerships, K-1s etc.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

Terrible. Listen, they have to make a navigable product. They didn't.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Awful support and software errors. Mutiple errors with deceased tax filer that prevented online filing. Wanted dates of residence after death, and would not allow correct answers to be added without errors. Also errors with flagging expired driver’s license (that expired AFTER death!). Then to NOT answer phones and just disconnect you when you needed H&R most??? Epic fail, H&R!!!

The program locked up when I went back to review. Then locked up and proceeded to erase all data including the data from the backup file. And I never I initiated a backup.
