Very cumbersome to switch between interview and forms. Difficult to transmit. Took at least 20 minutes to get through hitting retry 100's of times. Selected pay tax due by automatic withdrawal, yet that is not indicated anywhere on the return and the program generated a payment voucher. So I'm unsure if the automatic withdrawal will actually happen.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

easy to install and run. Interview process is clear and seems complete. Recent version has added a lot of explanations and guidelines to help make answering more accurate.

Nice program - Some issues printing State return

I have been using this program for many years and still there is the issue that when I print my state return the cover page prints on side 1 of the page and the first page of the return prints on side 2. Cover page should print on page 1 side 1 and page 1 side 2 should be blank or have any continuation of Pg 1 side 1 on it. Not part of the tax form.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Great, except for one thing

The price was right. I was able to finish very quickly. The only problem that I had was the income flow for interest and investment income had me manually fill in the 1099s. I could not find a way to download UNTIL I got to the capital gains section. Then I was able to download the interest, dividend, and sales information easily. Then I had to go back and delete what I had manually entered or else it would have been counted twice.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

This is my 8th year using the software and have no complaints. It's quick, easy to follow and gives you tons of updated information about the every changing tax laws. It also tell you about options you could consider if you chose to. Also, I save tons of time and money that I would otherwise have to spend or use leaving the comforts of my home. Thank you.
