I have used the H&R Block tax software for many years now, and I find it very easy to use. While I would rather be able to file my taxes for free, I am willing to pay a little money for the peace of mind of knowing that I am doing my taxes correctly and getting the maximum possible refund.

one HUGE problem makes my review low

I really really like this program. It is mostly easy to use and guides you well through all the steps you need.
ONE HUGE PROBLEM which they really need to solve.
The program needs to be scalable. I need to be able to enlarge the print on the screen.
And I guarantee I am not alone.
I will probably try a different program next year, depending on if I can find one that is scalable.

The charges are a bit high for filing (i.e. multiple states) and in some instances the "Learn More" topics are a bit vague. The average taxpayer, will find it very easy, thorough and the checks at the end of the preparation are reassuring. I have never used any other preparation software but I think that speaks for the program. I recommend H&R Block software highly.
