I find that H&R software is easy to use and help if needed it is available. The cost is competitive compared to the other company. I have been using H&R for several years and never had a problem

Easy to use. Most everything is clear and most questions asked. A couple of times I get caught in a loop - can't clear and move forward and not sure why. I have to figure it out myself as instructions are unclear. But only on a couple items. Now I have them figured out. Very helpful customer service staff when I called in.

Reporting royalty income is confusing & difficult

I've always preferred H&R Block software but I had so much trouble entering royalty income I may change next year
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Used this program for close to 20 years. Tried a competitor's twice. Prefer the flow of this program. Start with a year's worth of paper.when I get to the end, magically there's nothing left in the box. The firm I have my and my wife's IRAs will give me the competitor's program for free. Tried it. No thanks..
