ERROR IN LAST YEAR AGI. IRS WOULD NOT ACCEPT CORRECTED AGI.
IF THER IS A MISTAKE ANYWHERE, FORGET ABOUT EFILING.

Great online support

I have used H&R Block software for many years. Its format greatly aids the interview process. This time I had trouble with Form 1116 (foreign tax paid). Online problem resolution by live H&R Block agent rapidly and conveniently resolved my problem.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've used H&R block for the last 10 years, this year is the worse ! i bought the sate return program, and i'm unable to print out thee return to mail it in. I've spent SO much more money this year on this program and i'm VERY unhappy with the results. Next year i plan on using someone else, NOT H&R block. very displeased.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If I can give software no stars, I would. I never write reviews but I am so frustrated with the state filing portion of this software. I submitted it 3 times after fixing or removing every possible issue but my return has been rejected every single time! I now have to print and mail my state return, which will not be backed by H&R Block since I am mailing it! I will never purchase H&R Block again!!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues

The basic process is still the same and helpful. However, the details of lacking. For example, there has been a rapid increase in high-deducible health plans, and instead of the software walking you through the right questions to determine your tax status for a health savings account (HSA), it just says go find IRS form 8889, fill it out and insert line 6 back into the software. There were similar situations where in the past the software walked you through the process, so I would say the quality is steadily decreasing over time.
Cons: Hard to prepare
Pros: Easy to install, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

Screen freezes when reloading
