Triple Charge for State

I had to pay for my State filing 3 times in order to file. The first charge was ok, the second charge was for refiling my federal and the third charge was for a transmission error. Please void the second and third charge.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decided to use H&R Block software this year and was very easy to use. Not familiar with the way the state is done and if the retirement income was taxed or not.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Flawed process in fixing rejected filling

DOESN'T work if it's rejected. I don't need to refile FED, but it keeps going back to filing FED. Email says just fix the problem. It DOESN'T show the problem other than rejected. I can see that HOW DO I FIX IT?
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I have tried two other companies and found that your product is far superior in keeping up with all aspects of rental properties. I have been frustrated each year in the way the penalty for not having health insurance is done. This year my insurance premiums would have been well over 60% of taxable income and your program said I had to pay the $695 penalty. I had to work hard to get the penalty off. .

The worst ever

I've been using H&R Block since you published booklets and ever since your went electronic and this was the WORST ever. Not only was it not self explanatory as in the past, buts its advice re separate vs joint was erroneous and caused me extra work and delay

Not hard, but some topics are not covered

This program is not hard to use. However, there are a few areas it does not cover. Those areas should be covered by the "premium" version, which including investments, rental, and self-employed. For example, Schedule K-1, the program says "The PTP (Public Traded Partnership) is beyond our scope." Users have to figure out some codes and manually fill in related forms.

Cons: Time consuming

When return was completed and sent electronically last nite the status is still pending !! And does let you move on to send in your Stste return till the federal is transmitted.!!!

I have been using for at least 15 years. Accuracy review kept asking me to confirm wage entries(6 times), had to stop and start program several times, Unchecking something would not delete it(or uncheck it) but I wasnt taken to the forms to remove them. Somehow I managed to file my federal solo and I cant do ANYTHING with the state(like ask for an extension) until it comes back. Now I have to deal with state for being late, this is the first time in 40 years. I will not be using your product next year.
