Easier to use than Turbo Tax.

I used Turbo Tax for years before switching to H and R Block. I find H and R much more straight forward to use. Turbo Tax didn't handle my mineral royalties correctly.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I have to say that I'm very happy with H&R Block Premium Software. It's simple and fast to fill the income tax. AMAZING!

Some software glitches

While adding a donation that needed an appraisal, all seemed to go well until the final review when the software didn’t include the donation date. Eventually had to go to open page to amend the entire form. A second donation said “thrift shop value” even though I included an “appraisal” on the original form...
I would recommend this to a friend!

The font and color is too small and light. Had trouble at times reading. Should be larger and darker. Also, especially this year of change, there should be a comparison of last year's entries and taxes paid, to this year's. Especially the effective tax rate and/or amount. Of course, like everything else, cost of program keeps increasing.
