I have used this program for years, but this year our return was more complicated and involved the submission of several different state returns. The guidance for the various states was not consistent in quality and the directions not always clear.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

HAVE BEEN USING THIS PROGRAM FOR YEARS, ALWAYS ACCURATE.
ONLY 1 CONFUSING THING: CONTRACT LABOR (SUBCONTRACTORS YOU PAY 1099) AND LABOR IN COST OF INCOME - IN DIFFERENT PLACES, CALCULATED/FACTORED DIFFERENTLY INTO THE RETURN. BOTH OF THIS ITEMS ARE COST OF INCOME, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE YOU PAY W2 OR 1099, STILL PAYING LABOR TO MAKE MONEY. WHY W2 DEDUCTED STRAIGHT FROM GROSS AND 1099 IS NOT?

Good product for most applications. Have used it for many, many years, so I'm used to the problem issues. Some flaws - didn't catch withholding for Social Security overage - doesn't help much on nondeductible IRAs. Flags MOST fatal errors, but you better do your own checking, too. Flags some entries as errors that won't correct, so just ignore; the IRS catches real errors, HRB, no so much.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to fix issues
