Good but could be better

H&R Block Premium 2024 is pretty good but could be improved. I am 71 years old and have been doing my taxes all my life, the last 40 plus years with tax programs such as this, so I am pretty used to figuring out tax law and using this kind of software. It is fine; gets the job done. However, while using the standard interview mode two or three times I was not clear what I was supposed to enter. The Help provided did not help. Took trial and error to figure out. Worst by far was Form 1116, Foreign Tax Credit. The IRS could make this easier on us all but I think it is the job of H&R to make it easier on us poor tax filers.
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

every year i lose hours and days with software technical issues. the only reason i use this software is because it includes all forms i need. please do a better job making sure software forms are all functional.
Cons: Time consuming

Overall, Not a bad program. There are some manual adjustments you need to make that if you don't know what you are doing, can be a challenge.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
