The walk through GUI does not adequately inform the user about: depreciation types, capital gains taxes, and all things related. It also doesn't retain the method used in the previous year for a given rental property or an upgrade that would be depreciated for 7 years or 10 years, etc.... necessitating carrying over year to year

Overall the software was good with one exception. It suggested that I had made an error by not including Social Security income. I think it did this because of my age. I am 73. I am , however not eligible for social security benefits because in my government job I did not pay into the system. I therefore did not input any social security income on my return but I had difficulty convincing the program that this was not an error or oversight. The program just assumes that if you are a certain age you must be getting social security benefits. This is not necessarily true.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

Uploading data from some of my investment account took exceedingly long times with errors at the end that could not be corrected. Manual entry of the data would have been impossible. Excepting that aspect, the software and overall process went smoothly and quickly.

I have used your successfully software for a long time. it appears to do a good job on our retirement income and the income from rentals that we have. Higher taxes are not very complex. I am beginning to wonder if the recent price increase make the software worth it. I previously did my taxes the long way by hand.
