The product assume you know another about taxes to take advantage of unique exception and forms. The validation process marks trouble items but seldom says what to do to correct the error.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have used this software for more than 15 years. It is usually accurate but the 2024 release had errors that could not be overwritten. Very disappointing.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I've been using H&R block software since 2011, Made managing my taxes on my rental units much easier and more cost effective than using a Tax service, So far I've been very happy. Just make sure you take your time and review everything, and understand what and why you are entering the data as you enter it.
