Really needs an alternative way to import crypto transactions. The paid site that tracks your crypto is way too expensive.

If you're a long time user of H&R Block Premium software and your tax situation doesn't change too drastically from year to year then you appreciate a consistent, quality product. This is the reason why I stick with H&R Block. I've tried Turbotax several times in the past and I didn't like the constant changing of the user interface. Looking for clear guidance/answers was not as clear using Turbotax. No software is perfect, especially in a area of tax preparation where tax laws change from year to year. Tax software like this is great for those who are organized (keeping all receipts / documents that may influence your tax return) and are comfortable doing their own tax returns. I greatly appreciate the final tax review / audit review at the end of the program. This is like getting a written essay back from your teacher with all the red marks indicating all your mistakes. Once you fix all of these mistakes then you can turn your essay back in for a high score.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

The basis of this specific tax program involves a small accounting firm out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and was the best of class at the time over 30 years ago. The owners of the software changed over the years with HRB the most recent. I have sought this tax software, regardless of ownership since that small accounting firm. They did that good of a job to impress me each and every year, especially as my tax needs become much more complex and complicated. I am professionally thrilled.
