I submitted my taxes with H&R Block Premium 2024 Software and was pleased. Then I answered this survey and was hoodwinked into buying the software again. At the end of the survey they offered Auto-Renewal signup, which I did, relying on their statement that I wouldn't be charged until the soft ware shipped. Unfortunately, included in their charges was the 2024 software, not the 2025 software. I had no need for the 2024 software, as I had already used it!

I use HR Block for my taxes every year. This year for some reason, it kept trying to force me to use the EIC portion which we are not eligible for. No idea why. It was very frustrating. Other than that, it was very good.

Have used this for my tax prep for at least 15 years, biggest drawback is not supporting the form for calculating estimated tax payments by quarterly income. If I fill that form manually as the program requires, then I can't e-file - bummer. Not a complex calculation, in fact if you supported that form I would it most years because a portion of our income can vary wildly from quarter to quarter and is always unpredictable.

This was my son's program. Some of the questions were confusing because abbreviations were used that I didn't know what they were. Also since I figured out my taxes manually last year, i had to fill in many boxes multiple times which was tedious. But Federal filing was accepted quickly so that was reassuring. Please keep this response confidential as far as my personal information.
