Don't Dump me to the IRS or State Instructions

I don't like when the Block software "disconnects" when the going gets rough, and drops me back to the IRS or State instructions to figure it out for myself. I think it should do a better job of guiding me all the way to submission. I have no idea of how to interpret or implement the instructions that I'm dumped into.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Easy to use, relatively cheap, pulling in prior year info is the best. Also can interface with many payroll & investment institutions to download info & save manually entering. Not always the best on accuracy from photo uploads though; several errors.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Overall TaxCut performed as expected since I've used it for more than 20 years. However I was disappointed and surprised when the tax audit likelihood predictor said I probably would be audited because my donations were more than 25% of my gross taxable income. However that was a completely false statement because the number it was using as my gross taxable income was a quarter of what my actual gross taxable income had been computed when TaxCut prepared the return, and what was actually showing on the return I printed and electronically filed.
So that's a major bug and I was disappointed that a bug that big could've gotten by the quality control I expect you to have for such a product
