I’ve used this software for years to file state and federal tax returns. This year the software seemed faulty. My state return showed a $2,000 refund. I got a refund of $3,500. The federal return showed I owed $1,700 but a month after filing I received a letter from the IRS telling me to expect a $4,500 refund. I filed in mid to late March and did software updates.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare
