The handling of K-1 forms in a partnership that I am a passive participant fell short. There were certain codes in boxes of the K-1 that your guidance stopped and you referred to info sources outside the program. I use this program to get me through everything. That didn’t happen.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am using HR Block tax software for more than 20 years. I've used mostly DELUX package. This time I've purchased Premium hopping to get help with rental house income... Unfortunately, this part of the return was mainly painful: advises are weak, certain requirements for data input were, let's say, strange. And most of the difficulties I had filing electronically and having "issues" at this part of the return also.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

The price for doing small business was upgraded to the next price level upward program and when signing the end to send email to the IRS required an assigned 6 digit code that was sent to the person filing, but the software only allowed a 5-digit number with directions indicating it can be made up. As a result, I could not sent the return digitally, and had to send a hard copy by USPO (snail mail).
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the software but there are some things that could be better. Particularly the update process. Two years in a row l have had to call support to update the app. Also l think state efiling should not have a fee. Hopefully you can change that next year.
