once it get complicated software doesn't have necessary step to file, need a taxpro but can't add that function

Disappointed this after many years of satisfaction

I was disappointed this year with the software. A number of the areas that I am used to using and the new ones that I had to deal with this year had poor to no coverage. The state of Hawaii form is incomprehensible and I will be forced to try to fill it on my own on the state's website. This is my first year in Hawaii, so I have no previous experience with this one.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have used H&R for >10 yrs and used turbo tax once because it had features i needed. I wish I could enter data on forms as I discover information jumbled in my folder of paper without having to go thru the interview to confirm my entries. 1099 forms are the most frequent example. I search for the form and fill it in. Later the review requires me to click thru my entries.
I would recommend this to a friend!
