I've used this for years. Very adequate for my needs.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to fix issues
I would recommend this to a friend!

Reported incorrect AGI from 2016

Filed 2017 with extension. The data automatically brought in from 2016 was using a number that was incorrect from 2016 AGI. IRS rejected E-file, and 2017 Premium will not let me resubmit with correct AGI.
I cannot fault the basic product. Going back to previous sections, and then forward, actually seemed better this year. I didn't get lost in the process as often. There was a lot of confusion however at the end, when all of a sudden the past year's financial details and items sudden;y cropped up in the errors list. And there was no way to fix many of these errors. I tried putting in the number 0, and it wouldn't go in the red "error" box. But my maion complaint is that I could not choose a product that fit my needs. There was none. My wife and I make very little money, under $10,000 a year, or about 14,500 counting my social security. She is a freelance musician, so she has a few (small sum) 1099 forms. Because of that, we needed to get the Premium product. I had no choice but to plod through many many sections and pages I would've liked to ignore. I wanted a far simpler format. Basic plus, perhaps. But nothing but Premium could be found to legally fit our situation. Very frustrating..
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare
I have been using it for 8 years and it suites me well. There are a few areas where I wish the program provided more assistance such as K-1s and multi-state filings.
