Just wish it had a timer to tell when to move around the mouth.

This is our 2nd unit after many years of constant use by 2 people, twice daily.
However, this unit doesn't have the pausing indicator telling you it's time to move it around your mouth into a different area of the teeth.
Miss that.

My Hygienist can tell right away that I use a Sonicare.It is a great product that has timer features to let me know when I am done brushing. With this tooth brush and flossing this is the best product on the market.

Excellent complement to family dental health

With regular flossing, Sonicare brushing, and 2x/yr dental cleanings/check-ups, I have not had any teeth issues for over a decade-plus! I only wish the brush handle were a little less clunky/unwieldy (hard to avoid I imagine, given a presumably strong internal motor). The replacement heads are a bit pricey--especially for how frequently they're recommended to be replaced. The entire head--brush, neck, mounting hardware, high-powered magnets, etc.--has to be thrown out when it's time to replace... which seems like a lot of plastic and such to discard. I wish they could develop something like a "screw-on" brush head, so the replacement involves just the head.
Pros: cleans teeth really well, massages gums well
Cons: unwieldly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Because of the vibration, I had to use this product about four times before I was able to brush the outer part of my teeth. As for the inner surface, I probably will NEVER be able to use the product, as it even makes my tongue feel as if it's being electrocuted. Also, even though it is likely quite effective in removing plaque, it made my teeth quite sensitive to cold fluids. So, I stopped using it.
Pros: excellent - if you can stand the vibration.
Cons: tough on sensitive gums
