Unbelievably Clean!

I purchased this product because I'd always wanted an electric toothbrush and I'd heard great things about the Sonicare line. I am not disappointed, only sorry that I waited so long to get one! I feel like I've been to see my dentist for a professional cleaning after each use. I used my manual toothbrush the other day and my mouth didn't have the same degree of clean feeling that it does after I use the Sonicare. Mine came with an extra head and I've given it to my husband to use. He loves it too! Overall, extremely satisfied with my purchase. I plan on recommending it to every member of my family for their dental care.

Brush head is a bit awkward for cleaning the insides of the front teeth. Would think a round head would be easier to use.
I don't find effectiveness to be any better or worse then my earlier electronic toothbrushes.
Assuming longevity of the brush, I'd have no qualms in recommending.

Not designed for women's hands

My toothbrushes are the HX5710 model (I was told to review it here). I've had a sonicare elite for years but it wore out. So I replaced it with these. Unfortunately, the handle is at least 1/2" larger in diameter than the previous one and the handle is very significantly heavier. I now can't brush my teeth without supporting my arm on the counter. Obviously your designers did not test this with women, especially women who are over 50. Next time I will buy something else from some other company. Please redesign.

Sonicare is wonderful. I purchased my sonicare at the recommendation of my sister who is a hygienist when my nephew was an infant. My nephew turned 16 last year and my toothbrush just stopped charging. How many electric toothbrushe manufacturers can say that about their products. I know have to buy a new toothbrush and I have to admit that I am a bit nervous that the newer models are not made as good but we will see. In the meantime.....thanks Sonicare for 16 great years.
