My teeth feel really clan.

My teeth feel just as clean with this brush as with my old electric toothbrush. However, with my old electric toothbrush, it would skip after the two minutes to let me know that I had brushed for the required amount of time but would allow me to continue brushing if I so chose. The Sonicare just stops after two minutes. I do not like that. Also my previous electric toothbrush had a round head and after using this one, I prefer the round heads.

I purchased a new Essence and have noticed it is a little larger in diameter than my Elite was. I do like the hefty feel of this one. My only worry is that it doesn't beep every 30 seconds but I will get used to that. It is a nice unit. My old one just would not hold a charge anymore.
Pros: love it.

I have been using the sonicare for about 3 yrs upon recommendation by my dentist. It has perfomed well in removing plaque. My dental visits now report less plaque buildup thereby less chance of gum disease.

This is my first electric toothbrush. It was easy to figure out right out of the box, though it takes 24 hours to fully charge and it doesn't look like there's a way to change the battery if it dies or goes bad since that's how it looks like it's built. They provide some written instructions on how to best use the brush which helps for first timers like myself.
Pros: easy to use.
Cons: no replaceable battery., takes 24 hours to fully charge
