Previously, my Sonicare tooth brush had a hesitation every 15 seconds helping me to "stay on task" to give each area the proper care. I assumed that my new one would have the same feature, but was disappointed to find that it did not.

My mouth really feels clean after I use my Sonicare. But, I can't wait until I go back to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned to see what he thinks.
Pros: makes your teeth feel clean!

this tooth brush is awesome however the only change i would make is the price and quality of the replacement heads. they are way overpriced and Never last the 90 days before wearing out.
Pros: excellent quality, long period between charges
Cons: replacements need to come down in price, replacements need to last longer

I' ve spent YEARS trying to keep my teeth healthy, especially plaque-free. Nothing has worked alone #toothbrush or flossing# or together #brushing and flossing, etc.#. I absolutely dread the dentist. The Philips Sonicare Essence toothbrush has been my saving grace! It gets the plaque and the particles out easily, it doe not hurt my gums, nor pushes them up above my roots, it has kept the plaque to very minimun, and it prevents me from brushing to hard. I LOVE IT!!! The only drawback is the cost of the replacement heads and the smell that accumilates if you don't keep it clean consistenly.
Pros: keeps plaque from forming, feels great on the gums, prevents hard brushing
Cons: gets real smelly if not kept dry, replacement brushes costly

At first I was not very impressed because of the vibration against my gum. But over time I got use to it and my teeth feel the cleanest like leaving the dentist.

Overall an excellent product, the timer on this model isn't working. The unit must be taken apart and dried every use so scale doesn't build on the charging unit.

I'm glad I switched to Sonicare, I like how my teeth feel after cleaning.
Cons: i have small hands and almost wish there was a, ledge to rest my hand against.
