I purchased the Philips Sonicare toothbrush earlier in the month and have been very happy with it. The toothbrush works as it says and leaves a very clean feeling. I would recommend this sonic toothbrush to anyone.

My third Sonicare. Our dentist introduced us to them. I like the cleaning action and the compactness for travel. It uses the brush heads I am use to. But with no quadpacer and no rack for two heads, I am considerig taking it back.
Pros: nice travel case
Cons: no quad pacer, no rack for two heads
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best clean! I cannot use ordinary toothbrushes any more!

This recent purchase was to replace my first Sonicare Toothbrush that I purchased due to a car vs. bike accident that occurred when I was 39 years old. The accident took out a front tooth, split my upper lip and gave me fibromyalgia and a head concussion. After four years of braces, an implant, and four root canals ($20,000.00 worth). I was asked to use a Sonicare. This toothbrush lasted 15 years until is literally came apart. I now have this one at work, and we have two more at home. I would NOT be without them and I use them 2-3 times per day! Excellent product. (The used heads clean rings very well also!)
Pros: quality cleaning, easy to travel with
Cons: easily turns unit off when using, if you grab the handle wrong

This is the 3rd Sonicare toothbrush I have owned.
Seems the battery only lasts about 2 years and cannot be replaced,
so you have to buy an entire new toothbrush which is costly.
But the design and ease of use and the RESULTS have always brought me back.
Also, why are the brushes SO expensive?--!!!
I guess when there is only 1 choice for replacements, the user has
to pay whatever the 'going' rate is!

so you have to buy an entire new toothbrush which is costly.

Its ok. however, I liked the one I had before better. I previously had a phillips sonicare for about 20 years. What I liked about the features of the old one that the new one does not.
1. It pulsed every 30 seconds. this one does not.
2. It was quieter.
3. On the new one on a couple of occasions, it stopped running after a couple of seconds - after it restarted it was ok.

The first time I used the sonic it tickled so much but my hygienist said don't worry in a few weeks it wouldn't. I really feel the sonic works great. My teeth and gum feel great
