Love Sonicare toothbrushes but very disappointed this one does not have the 30 seconds beeps. Bought 2 for my kids and figured that feature turned on after the 12 trial brushings. Would recommend Sonicare toothbrushes but not one without without that 30 second timer feature.
Cons: needs 30 second timer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great product. It is dependable, lasting for many years. It is light and easy to use, perfect for multiple family member use. Have used this product for many years and intend to continue.
I really don't like the scraping noise when the hygienist cleans my teeth. I purchased this product hoping to make my visits less stressful. Not only do I feel like this brush cleans well, but I have noticed the stains on my teeth are going away too.
This toothbrush is not much better than the one I returned

I returned my last Sonicare toothbrush because it would lose power unless I kept screwing the head on tighter while brushing and the it would not beep a warning before it completely ran out of power - requiring over 24 hours to be recharged. This one is doing the same thing. I've used this basic model for years and never used to have problems with it.
Pros: none -
Cons: does not give warning beep when about to lose powe, product is getting worse instead of better
Find the brush satisfactory. Of possible future concern - need to clean brushhead with soap/water post-use because of possible deterioration from whitening agents in dentrifice. Almost every toothpaste has whitening agents / can you find a plastic which will resist this problem?
I've had the toothbrush about two months now and it has worked just fine. The key will be how long the battery continues to hold a two-week charge, which it does now (I've had problems with this in the past). It took more than 24 hours to charge the first time, but since then, the charges are fairly quick.
