The main difference between this and the G8 is there is no 4K screen, face unlock, or air gestures on the G8X. That being said if you ever wanted to do two things, heck even three things at the same time you can now. It's easy to learn and use, and you don't have to worry bout the screen breaking when shutting it. This phone is beautiful, fast, well built, and it still has a headphone jack which is great no stupid adapter. The price alone, free*, was worth giving it a shot. Couldn't be happier.

I'm a samsung note kinda guy. This was a hard decision. Note 10+ vs Lg g8 with dual screen ...... Samsung did way too many bad changes to the note 10. ....long story short .....Lg user now. This phone is nice ...great features that's useful... Dual screen is strong not cheap....live this phone. Job well done LG. If you all had a pen with this......i would sell them my self.....lol

The first phone I've loved since HTC was good

I have this phone with the Dual Screen case and I absolutely love it. It's fast, intuitive, and so functional. The second screen turns off and just becomes a really solid folio front when I don't want it. When I do want it, I wonder how I ever lived without it as an option. I often navigate in the car and I can keep my Maps app up on one screen while I also craft a Spotify playlist on the other. At the end of work, I can see a message chain coordinating with multiple people for dinner on one screen while I look up restaurants on the other. It's so much faster than toggling. And, I can do the crossword puzzle while I look up the trivia I don't know on the other screen - hehe. Seriously though, this phone is fun and easy to use. It actually makes me more efficient. Overall, the phone and case combo also just have this really sturdy and easy-to-hold feel.
