Lies about comparability

I bought this and already had the grinder. It literally doesn’t fit and doesn’t work. So don’t waste your time or money and honestly kitchenaid sucks.

What a ripoff, you have to buy a whole other kit in order to get the parts you need as pictured.

A True Disappointment
on August 8, 2021

I bought this attachment recently. I got it out of the box this morning to make fresh tomato juice. You know what? The box did not contain all the parts shown and I found out I have to buy the other necessary parts separately.. Nowhere did I see that this was the case before I purchased it. Had that been the case, I would not have purchased this attachment and now I want a refund..

Lasted over 40 years of processing fruits.

I bought this in a package with multiple attachments over 40 years ago. It has processed bushels of tomatoes, apples, blueberries, etc. It just now had a structural failure. I'm getting a new one today.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An extra set of hands
on September 23, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally broke down and purchased a mixer. Let’s just say I wished I hadn’t waited so long to do it. It’s like having an extra set of hands in the kitchen! From cakes to cookies and meatloaf and more, I love my mixer. And the attachments, oh my!!! I have 3 (grinder, the fruit and veggie strainer, and the food processor and will be getting more in the near future. The fruit and veggie strainer was a tremendous help this summer as I was canning tomato juice. The process was quick, less waste and an ease to clean up afterwards. These products sure do aid me in kitchen!

Good tool

We've used the strainer on Italian tomato sauces, Mexican moles, and, today, a smooth gazpacho. It can be a bit messy to use, but it's less messy than what we had with a manual tomato press and sieves. And it's satisfying to see the refuse -- seeds, skins, and other less tasty bits-- push out and drop into the waste bowl, while the flavorful pulp goes in another. I would like to see cones that could be used for other textures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed by lack of compatibility
on April 27, 2020
Posted by: less than happy customer
Upon buying this product, I was first annoyed that it does not come with the hopper or main housing attachments nor does this site alert you to that fact when buying. But after a friend let me borrow her hopper, I thought everything was fine. Then I find that the sizing is just a little bit off and see the subtle note they add that says it is not compatible with another hopper they sell.

False picture

Upon buying and receiving this product and trying to put it together, I realized something was missing! You have to buy another part separately! There was no indication of this upon checkout! I am so disappointed that it does not come with the removable tray and main housing attachments as in the picture nor does this site alert you to that fact when buying. Had I know that I would NEVER have ordered this item, instead I would have searched and ordered the whole part. Very disappointed. Now wondering if I order the rest if it will fit and how much price difference it will be. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
