Disappointed in marketing

Honesty, a little ticked off at Kitchenaid right now. All pictures show the grinder along with the strainer, only on an asterisk does it mention that you need to purchase the grinder to use as well. Seriously? Then show in the pictures what comes in the actual box, not just the entire set up. Ridiculous. I'm sure the strainer will work great, once I spend the extra money to purchase the grinder. Oh and make sure you purchase the correct grinder. I already have one of the grinders I purchased previously, but it's not compatible.

Strainer Cone Broke

Purchased on 1/13/25 and in one use the strainer cone broke. Attempted to use chat, which doesn't work. Then tried calling customer service and the wait was over 30 minutes. How do I get a replacement?

Picture is misleading.

Misleading picture. It does not come with the grinder part at the top where the berries are pictured. I can't even purchase that piece because I don't know what it's called. KitchenAid has become a a company with no integrity. Very disappointed.

Consumer Manipulation

Should be compatible with KSMMGA but instead you have to buy TWO DIFFERENT food grinders. I thought KitchenAid was better than this sort of consumer manipulation, but you’re better off getting a stand alone juicer from a different brand

The attachment is a part of the whole attachment. You must also buy the tray otherwise you cannot attach it. Picture is misleading.

Screen needs work, split in under an hour of use.

While it worked (less than an hour) it was good. Then the strainer split at the seam and seeds and skins started getting into the juice and pulp. The skins also started getting hung in the split, and jammed it up.

So easy to assemble and disassemble. Works great.

I love this product. Yesterday, I did 18 jars of jelly, using mixed berries, and this strainer was infinitely easier to manage than the Victorio I'd been using. I didn't have leaking, I didn't need to get out the pliers, no juice landed on the floor or the counter, it assembled easily, and taking it apart was easy -- what a blessing. The Victorio worked but was very messy and very difficult to disassemble.
A few cautions -- this strainer goes with the newer meat grinder attachment. I already knew that, so I bought the grinder as well. Also, it helps to lift up the bowl for the juice by setting it on something so the bowl for the juice is a bit higher than the other bowl for the skin/seeds. Otherwise, they don't both fit easily under the strainer. One other caution -- I put a towel down on the counter to catch any flecks of juice escaping the stream downward. But, having lifted the bowl higher, honestly, there weren't that many flecks.
The benefits of this strainer FAR outweigh the negatives. I know people are mad that this strainer doesn't fit on the old grinder, and they feel surprised and not forewarned, and I do understand that, but that isn't a reason, IMO, to give this strainer a negative review. Once you have the right parts, it works so well.
I'm very, very happy with it.

Incompatible Product!

Received my purchase 2 weeks ago and found it to be INCOMPATIBLE with my preowned KITCHENAID MEAT GRINDER. I suppose it would've made too much sense to list in bold that it was not compatible with all of their meat grinder products?!?! Now the product is of no use to me and their page tells me I cannot return it. Very sad day as I own a lot of KitchenAid products and it looks as though I may need to rethink making any future purchases :( Very disappointed in this company!!
