I have used the product about 6 times on tomatoes. Like so many other reviews here mys strainer seam has popped which forces seeds and skin out. love the way it works, but very disappointed with the faulty part.

I’ve had this attachment for a number of years. I’ve used it to make applesauce and for canning tomatoes. So easy and so very little waste!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve been using this strainer for years. I process Roma tomatoes for my Sunday Sauce. It’s always perfect. No seeds and no skins. Wonderful!

Essentially for my summer garden vege processing.

I couldn't process gallons of garden sauce each summer without this attachment. It handles whatever mix comes in from the garden, tomatoes, peppers and tomatillos, either slow roasted or in the case of tomatoes, quickly blanched drained and strained. It can be messy. A plastic cereal storage container is just the right height to fit under the spout and catch the sauce as it comes out.

Terrible strainer cone. Food gets stuck, broke
on February 24, 2025

The strainer cone is a terrible design. It has a seam where the metal attaches together that food always gets stuck in and is impossible to clean. The white plastic cap on the end also catches food and won’t allow to flow out properly. Also the thin metal cone split at the seam after just a few uses. Get a standalone strainer and avoid the kitchenaid attachment, we learned this the hard way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased on 1/13/25 and in one use the strainer cone broke. Attempted to use chat, which doesn't work. Then tried calling customer service and the wait was over 30 minutes. How do I get a replacement?
