Upon trying to put it together, I realized something was missing! You have to buy another part separately! There was no indication of this upon checkout! I am so disappointed! I purchased all the food to make a dish using this strainer. NOw what do I do with all the food? I was so excited to try this out for my sauce. So with another part this will bring the cost $$$ much higher.

Unuseable MISSING ATTACHMENT.

The pictured item offered for sale is not the item in the box. Only the far left part is included. The center Attachment shown is missing. Therefore your vegetables will rot before you get a proper center part if you needed it in time for canning. KitchenAid is false advertising in interstate commerce violation of 15 USC 77q and Wire Fraud 18 USC 1343. Penalty is $1,000 up to $5,000 per occurrence 18 U.S. Code § 3571 - Sentence of fine

Horrible experience- missing parts!

I bought this a while ago as a present for my dad and had it gift wrapped by you guys but when my dad opened it, it was missing the long shaft thing that actually connects it, to the Kitchenaid, the pusher thing and that plate thing that you put the tomatoes in, and that little circle thing that connects this part to the shaft thing. If you advertise it with all of the parts then I should be able to receive all of the parts. I’m very disappointed with this brand because this was supposed to be a thing that my dad could use right away for his birthday and now I have to write this bad review. Even the manual says that it’s supposed to be included but it’s nowhere to be seen. We are missing parts 1, 2, 5 and 8 and we are just fine with a refund and if you guys send the missing pieces. Again, I’m very disappointed…

Confusing Compatability

Very confusing compatibility with different meat grinders. Apparently there are no strainers that work with my grinder. What a waste of time. Returning immediately.

Good, but you need the meat grinder first

I've had this for a few years now and I like it, but; you need the meat grinder separately- this is just an attachment to that, I think they should have different cones to be able to strain out different sized things- i.e. large for things like strawberry preserves, medium for things like orange juice with pulp, fine for purees, and even super fine for finer purees and maybe even finer for juicing purposes, finally I wish I could process cherries, sandplums, and persimmons without having to worry about taking the pits out first, so if there was a different screw cone that could do that this would be amazing.

works fairly good. the whole thing is a little small. the hopper should be bigger. the waste is to close to where the juice comes out and sometimes falls in juice. i like the idea of it on the kitchen aide but there needs to be a better design. i can a lot so i keep on looking for a better way of extracting the juice.
