Coravin Delivers what it promises

I have really enjoyed the Coravin pouring system. It has allowed me to try expensive wines given to me without waiting for occasions to polish off an entire bottle. I have experienced a bottle or two with dry cork and it did not survive, but this is not the products fault, but the wine corks fault. So, if the conditions are ideal and the wine is proper, the system will perform as promised.

A great addition for a wine lover

I enjoy a good glass of wine but with a crazy schedule I often skipped opening a bottle of wine because I knew I couldn't finish it in a timely fashion. This has changed everything- now I can pour a glass with no worries about when I will pour my next, I can even have multiple bottles going at once without a worry of being wasteful.

The pouring speed of the Coravin #2 Elite is a huge benefit. Despite being a vocal supporter of Coravin from the beginning, I definitely have concerns with my investment in this new model.. On occasion wine seems to spray, drip, etc out of the top portion of the needle while in use. It actually sprayed and dripped wine on a clients table cloth while tasting last week which was rather embarrassing. As it stands, IÌ_Ì_åÈm not feeling so great about this personal investment. Seems like the kinks have yet to be worked out.

I love this product!! I didn't even know this existed! The ease of use is awesome!!! I was so excited when I ordered this product!! We have a bottle of wine every Friday and Saturday night with dinner. It is so nice to be able to have a glass at a time now. This is so easy to use! It also saves me from drinking too much!

I have had my Coravin model 2 for a few months now, and absolutely love it! First time I used it I tried one glass out of 4 different wines in one evening. Since then I've finished all but one of them and each has been flawless from the first glass. The last, is a very special vintage and I'm savoring it hopefully for quite a while. I have taken it to several parties where I have shown it to friends and they have been extremely impressed. Every time I use it I am still very pleased with it and would buy it again in a heart beat - it IS that good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cool idea, but costly

The design and ingenuity of the device is great. I like the concept of being able to access wine bottles without opening the cork. However, the poor is very slow and I am turned off by the idea of meeting to continually purchase compressed air cylinders. This adds to the ongoing cost. Overall, great concept, but poor long-term cost.
