Great unit

My sister and niece bought ‘this sealer and told me how much they liked them. I bought mine especially for cheese as I was always throwing out cheese because it would always get mould on it. Now that I seal it with this hand held sealer it lasts for months. Have it on my counter to use for my leftovers , fast and easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s a gem!

I love this little handheld vacuum sealer. I use it every single day. Sometimes multiple times per day. I have an older handheld vacuum sealer that will only expel air on a few bags at a time and then have to be recharged. I’ve used the heck out of it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Won't hold seal and not airtight

I bought this handheld sealer several months ago and I love it or loved it so I should say. I would use it all the time but after a bag has been in the freezer for a little while it loses all its hairlessness. Then I tried to reseal it or resection the air out and it will not work whatsoever the handheld sealer works but the bags are junk
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked great, but not for long...

I bought this for my wife on Mothers Day 2023 because she couldn't stop talking about it and had already purchased the special bags. It worked fantastic for the first 6 months but in reality sealed less than 50 bags (2-3 bags multiple times). It never got wet, and never sucked up any liquid as it was only used for cheese. The pump still runs but does not suck any air. It would be nice if it worked because I still use the bags, but now have to squeeze the air out of them underwater which is a huge effort but definitely keeps cheese much fresher than a regular zip seal type bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Food saver Cordless hand held food vacuum sealer

It took forever to charge first time. It never had any power. I vacuumed two sandwich size bags with a piece of salmon in each. It took about half an hour to seal each bag.
Next time, I plugged in charger, two days later, very little power.
I now have two pkgs of bags, 1 small and one large and cant use them.
Purchased about 4-6 months ago

A great compact size vacuum sealer

I recently tried the FoodSaver Handheld Vacuum Sealer to preserve and keep food fresh longer. The FoodSaver Handheld Starter Kit includes one handheld vacuum sealer, one charging dock, and two quart-size zipper bags.
The first item I stored using the FoodSaver was a block of mozzarella cheese. The handheld vacuum sealer is lightweight and very easy to use. Once the vacuum sealer is fully charged, indicated by the green light is turned on. All you need to do is place the food inside the FoodSaver zipper bag, then press the handheld vacuum sealer button on the designated circle area on the bag. Within a few seconds, the vacuum sealer pump removes excess air from the bag quickly and efficiently.
The zipper bag included in the starter pack perfectly fit my half block of mozzarella cheese. After sealing, there was still plenty of space left in the bag, which suggests it can handle larger food items as well.
The FoodSaver vacuum seal technology removes oxygen to extend the life of food, helping it last much longer in the pantry, fridge, or freezer. It keeps food fresh up to five times longer than ordinary storage methods like foil, plastic wrap, and containers. This feature is excellent for reducing food waste, especially for items that spoil easily like cheese or for keeping fresh produce stay fresh longer.
