Loved it until…

Purchased at Costco, used lightly for a few months, worked well. The bags do not stay airtight long, but it seems to help with food which is used proportionally in short amount of time such as snack carrots, etc. Picked it up off the charger one day, green lights all on like they always had been, nothing. Dead. Trying different tweaks in the stand, green lights and still dead. Pretty disappointed, would like some feedback if available. Thank you.

Best money saving hacks for moms

This is my favorite mom hack!!
I love my @foodsaver handheld vacuum sealer because as a mom of four, I'm constantly looking into ways for reducing waste and saving money. This is definitely it and checks everything off my list!
This helps to extend the shelf life of my food and it keeps the food fresh and the flavour is never compromised.
This also keeps my avocados from turning brown which is amazing because I feel that they're already so expensive and it hurts my heart when they brown so quickly.
My Foodsaver handheld vacuum sealer is my most used kitchen gadget and I'm not even sorry about it. It's truly the best mom hack! Every kitchen needs one!

No Longer takes a charge

Ive had the handheld sealer for about a year and for the first few weeks it worked well except the bags and vacuum containers would lose their seal......so i left the handheld in its charging bay and basically stopped using it.......after several months i thought id give it another try and the unit wasn't charged even though it was in the charger.....tried different outlets...tried letting the dead sealer sit for a day and then reinstalled in the charger to no avail.......in all i think i used it 10 times and is now not working......very disappointed....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleaning

I’ve used this sealer quite a bit. The only problem is no matter how dry the food being sealed there is always moisture. After packing my famous meatball recipe, I noticed that the unit was full of liquid inclu ding inside the pump. It there any way of cleaning the pump.
