Decent for Reducing Food Waste

The Foodsaver Starter Kit has been a helpful addition to my kitchen, allowing me to save some food that would have otherwise gone to waste. While it hasn't completely transformed how I store food, it has made a noticeable difference in extending the life of certain items, particularly fresh produce and meats. The vacuum seal technology is effective in keeping food fresh for longer periods, which means fewer trips to the grocery store and less waste overall. However, I did notice that the suction isn't as strong as I expected, so I often find myself needing to vacuum seal a couple of times to ensure all the air is removed.
One of the key benefits I've noticed is the ability to save money by taking advantage of sales and bulk buying. With the Foodsaver, I can store these items confidently, knowing they won't spoil before I have a chance to use them. The vacuum-sealed bags also do an excellent job of preventing freezer burn, which helps retain the flavor of the food. So handy and powerful

I am a professional consultant, constantly in a rush. I love how this product has helped make meal preps so easy and also saved so much money on groceries. I use the vacuum even to seal my snacks and slip them in my purse without worrying about spills and stains. Highly recommend this product for every household.

I received this free in exchange for an honest review, all thoughts and opinions are my own! - first off, I love that it’s cordless and hand held, it seems to hold a charge very well but I like that I’m not carrying around a bulky vacuum sealer. I like that it’s easy to just pop on the charger and go. I like the simple design a lot, the packaging was nice & easy to open & look through. The bags themselves are very high quality, I love that you just press it to the bag in the designated spot it’s much easier than I had expected it to me - it did look a little intimidating but it was SO easy and SO fast to pack away some left overs. I was also looking into it and saw you can get containers which are now on my “must buy” list it seems very practical & useful. I’m a big fan of saving left overs and other ingredients and don’t love having food waste so the fact it can be so simple to vacuum seal & stash away for later is a big green flag to me. I am LOVING it so far. I expected to like it but I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. And as a family of 4, having some left over meals I can quickly defrost and warm up is such a blessing!

I’ve always wanted to invest in a Foodsaver, but some of them are so big and expensive.
Meet the handheld vacuum sealer!
It is so compact that it barely takes up any space on your counter or in a drawer. It is SO quiet, you barely even hear it.
It works great for so many things in our house from fresh produce, to homemade baked goods, to dividing and freezing bulk meats.
You can use the bags for the sealer, or you can even purchase the containers for it to use too, which is such a nice option to have.
This retails for around $40 CAD, which is SO reasonable for everyone.
I’m so glad I got this product as it’ll definitely help stop food waste in our house!
