This is our 2nd FoodSavor. Works even better than the 1st one. The first one lasted 20 years and vacuum sealed a LOT of food. This one will be handy with the hand held vacuum. Anxious to try that feature

I had my first FoodSaver for twenty years before it was time to retire it. I purchased this model as a replacement and am extremely happy with it. Same great features but improved. The accessory is easier to use. The FoodSaver is one of my top five small appliance I can't live without!

This is a typical food saver unit. It is good for moderate use. Not meant for repetitive sealing or heavy use. The bags must be straight on the sealing end or it will not complete the vacuum/sealing cycle.

After researching products overall capabilities and cost, I choose this vacuum sealer. The price was a little more than I expected to pay but so worth it! Super easy to use, looks great on countertop and hopefully will last a very long time. I vacuum seal so many things to extend shelf life.

I will rate this with 4 Stars as it seems to operate much better than the one I previously bought but never actually worked as it should. I like the option with the additional hand held vacuum attachment hose and the zipper cutter bar for straighter cuts but not easy to store because of its size.
