Food saver sent this model to replace my old gamesaver unit. Trying to get the machine to accept the bag is a pain. Also half the time it doesn't vacuum down all the way before sealing wasting bags. Why in the world would they discontinue a popular model like the Gamesaver with this piece of junk? Letting you know how bad this unit really is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was my second food saver product. I would not recommend this product if you are sealing multiple bags in one setting. This unit overheats after a couple of seals and you have to wait for it to cool down. Then after a couple more, same thing. My first one never had this problem. Also does not always do a good job of vacuuming out all the air

I wore my old one out and happily bought a new one. It's much quieter than the old one, and faster to vacuum and seal. Takes up less counter space too. Best kitchen tool I've ever invested in.
